Does the carpenter bring tools?
Yes — our carpenters arrive with professional hand and power tools. You only arrange materials or hardware if you prefer to supply your own.
Are materials included in the service price?
No. Service prices cover labour. Wood, laminate, polish, hinges, handles, locks and other hardware are charged separately — always with your approval before purchase.
Can I provide my own hardware?
Absolutely. You may supply your own hinges, handles, channels or locks, or ask us to procure approved hardware at market rates.
Can Zaddy Fixit arrange materials?
Yes. For larger jobs the carpenter lists required materials in the quotation; we procure them only after you approve.
Can I get custom furniture made?
Yes — book a Measurement Visit. We measure, help you pick materials and finishes, and send a written quotation. Work starts only after your approval.
Can I upload photos before booking?
Yes — add 1–5 photos of the damage, the space, or a reference design while booking. They reach the carpenter before the visit.
Can I book multiple small carpentry jobs together?
Yes — add multiple jobs to one visit and save repeat visit charges. Up to 5 jobs per visit; larger scopes go through inspection.
Is there a visit charge?
Only for inspection/measurement bookings (shown upfront). For fixed-price services, the price you see is the labour price you pay.
Are spare parts included?
No — hinges, channels, locks and other hardware are always billed separately, with your approval.
Is carpentry work covered by warranty?
Yes — workmanship warranty as per the selected service (up to 30 days), hardware carries the manufacturer warranty, and custom furniture follows the approved project terms.
Can I track completed carpentry jobs in My Home?
Yes — label the item while booking (e.g. Main Door, Kitchen Cabinet) and the completed work, date and warranty appear in your My Home history.
Can you move furniture from one room to another?
Yes — In-Home Furniture Shifting covers safe room-to-room movement within the same property, including floor-to-floor moves.
Can you shift furniture between floors?
Yes. Select different-floor shifting while booking; a per-floor staircase charge applies when no lift is available, and extra professionals are assigned automatically.
Can you dismantle and reassemble wardrobes?
Yes — the Disassembly + Reassembly combo is built exactly for that, bookable same-day or across different dates.
Can I book several furniture items together?
Yes — add multiple items to one visit and get a single combined booking and pricing summary.
Does Zaddy Fixit provide house-to-house furniture transport?
No — we handle movement within your property only. Inter-house transport belongs to a future Movers/Relocation service.
Can you redesign old furniture?
Yes — book a redesign consultation. The carpenter checks feasibility, then shares a material + labour quotation for your approval.
Can you resize a wardrobe or table?
Often, yes — final feasibility depends on construction, material and structural condition, confirmed after inspection.
Will additional materials be charged separately?
Yes — materials and hardware are always estimated separately from labour and purchased only after your approval.
Can furniture be rearranged without dismantling?
Usually yes — most rearrangement needs no dismantling. The professional confirms on arrival.
How many workers will come for heavy furniture?
Crew size is assigned by furniture size, floors and lift availability — shown in your pricing summary before you confirm. We never let one professional move heavy furniture alone.
Can you reassemble furniture after painting or renovation?
